WIDER 130 Superyacht profile

WIDER announces a 130′ yacht

WIDER 130 is the newest project announced by the company since their acquisition in April by Genting Hong Kong Ltd. True to WIDER form, the stand out features of the 130 are sleek exterior styling, expansive space and energy efficiency.

The Wider 130 is an elegant floating home with magnificent views. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows surround the main saloon. The sky lounge provides unique indoor-outdoor living. Six staterooms accommodating 12 guests, which is quite exceptional for a yacht with an LOA of 130-feet, also benefit from oversized windows. Furthermore, on all deck levels, space visually extends far beyond actual boundaries. Large open spaces with clean lines, a cohesive color palette, and modern minimalist furnishings infuse the yacht with a well-balanced calm.

Deck space totals more than 200m²

The build design allows for huge deck spaces split into three distinct luxury areas. The foredeck beckons sun worshippers. The protected bridge deck aft is the favorite for alfresco dining and entertaining. Finally, the beach club is an outstanding WIDER signature feature. The transom door folds down when at anchor to create a 40m2 oasis, completely private and right on the water. Inside, there is a bar and storage for water toys.

Wider Yachts use diesel-electric

WIDER Superyachts are the first in their size range in the world to use a highly efficient diesel-electric propulsion system combined with Azimuthal pods. This combination promises low fuel consumption, a significantly increased navigation range, lower noise and vibration and greater flexibility for the designers. It allows WIDER to continue to create space, using the traditional engine room area to create larger guest cabins.

In addition to producing a lower carbon footprint, and up to 20% less fuel consumption than a traditional twin screw configuration, this is the quietest way to power a vessel. As a result, the Wider 130 has very low levels of noise and vibration. Finally, the WIDER 130 anticipates a perfect RINA score of 100/100, already achieved in the WIDER 150.

Wider 130 is a strong market competitor.

WIDER 130 is destined to make waves throughout the yachting industry.  Her full-displacement hull slices through challenging seas. Diesel-electric propulsion means fuel efficiency and hours of silent operation on battery power at anchor. Furthermore, voluminous living spaces, equivalent to larger yachts, are ideal for long-range cruising. In conclusion, the WIDER 130 is a top contender, for casual cruising, serious seafaring, and the charter market.
