April 10-15, 2017 Les Voiles de St. Barth, The inspiration for “Les Voiles de Saint Barth” – to create a regatta for beautiful sailboats to navigate in a festive spirit. No fewer than 80 boats and 1,000 sailors are expected to compete at the event. Très chic.
April 13-17, 2017 Bequia Easter Regatta, classic and workboats compete in this event.
April 19-25, 2017 Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta Some 50 to 60 yachts compete in a variety of builds, including traditional craft from the islands, classic ketches, sloops, schooners and yawls making the bulk of the fleet, together with the stunningly beautiful Spirit of Tradition yachts, J Class yachts and Tall Ships.
April 29-May 5, 2017 Antigua Sailing Week, one of the premier sailing regattas in the world welcomes participants from around the globe each year competing for the chance to win this prestigious race.
April 28 – May 1, 2017 West Indies Sail Regatta, St Barth, FWI Each year beach built island Schooners & Sloops from all over the Caribbean return to the Port of Gustavia, St. Barths to commemorate the great days of trading by sail between the islands. This is a spectacle not to be missed.
May 12-19, 2017 Antigua to Bermuda Race
The inaugural Antigua to Bermuda Race starting on Friday, May 12, is proving highly popular with a huge variety of competitors eager to take on the challenge of a true ocean race to Bermuda; the home of the 35th America’s Cup. The fascinating array of registered yachts includes the magnificent 162ft schooner, Eleonora, an exact replica of the 1910 Herreshoff-designed Westward, one of the most famous and best known racing schooners in the world.
June 6-10, 2017 Loro Piana Mediterranean Superyacht Regatta Porto Cervo, Sardinia, Italy. This four-day sailing regatta attracts an ever-increasing fleet of sailing yachts. This year’s event will see the Wally Class fleet return.
June 22-25, 2017 The Superyacht Cup, Palma, Mallorca. This is the longest running superyacht regatta in Europe, a favorite with yacht owners, friends, captains and crew who gather annually for the four day event. Five minutes from the Regatta Village are first class hotels and restaurants, fine shopping, famous architecture, art galleries and historical museums.
July 1, 2017 Round the Island Race, Isle of Wight, UK. The 50 nautical mile course round the Isle of Wight regularly attracts over 1,700 boats and around 16,000 sailors, making it one of the largest yacht races in the world.
July 3-21, 2017 Transpac. Join the elite fraternity of sailors who take on the Pacific Ocean and head west from Long Beach, CA to Hawaii.
July 29 – August 5, 2017 Cowes Week, Cowes, is one of the UK’s longest running and most successful sporting events and is a key highlight of the British sporting summer. Held in early August every year since 1826, except during the two world wars, the race attracts British and foreign royalty and international celebrities.
Sept-Oct, 2017 Les Voiles de St. Tropez, France, attracts the most modern, extraordinarily high tech, high performance sailing yachts as well as award-winning, legendary classic yachts. World-class race teams and enthusiastic spectators are lured from around the globe to participate in this breathtaking race week.
October 7-8, 2017 Columbus Day Regatta, Biscayne Bay, Miami. One race each day with a start of the first class at 0955 hours, Saturday, October 8, 2016, and at 1055 hours, Sunday, October 9, 2016. Friday, October 7th Skipper’s Meeting, Coconut Grove Sailing Club, 1900 Hours.
October 21-28, 2017 Catamarans Cup International Regatta, Athens, Greece. Nothing tops this delightful combination of a sailing race and a relaxing holiday in the Greek islands. October 16-20, 2017 Rolex Middle Sea Race, Royal Malta Yacht Club, Malta
October 31 -December 16, 2017 Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC), Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. The ARC is a ‘must do’ for many sailors, and attracts over 200 boats and 1200 people every year to sail 2800 NM across the Atlantic from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia.
November 25, 2017 RORC Transatlantic Race, This year’s race is organized in association with the Yacht Club Costa Smerelda and celebrates their 50th anniversary. The race starts 25th November 2017 in Lanzarote and finishes at the YCCS yacht club in Virgin Gorda. The race also makes up one half of the Atlantic Anniversary Regatta, with the second race organized by the RORC and NRV starting in Bermuda on 7th July 2018 and finishing in Hamburg. 2017 Notice of Race: RORCTransatlantic_NoR2017_web

January, 2018 Mount Gay Rum Round Barbados Sailing Race
The first organized race around Barbados was held on January 1st 1936 when 5 trading schooners competed for ‘bragging rights’ and a small prize. The winner was Lou Kennedy’s Sea Fox in a time of 10 hours and 20 minutes. Those fierce competitors could never imagine the high-tech, super-skilled racing yachts and teams of today. The three day coastal race series can be entered separately, or together with the Mount Gay Round Barbados Race. Racing is in 5 classes on both the South and West Coasts of the Island. On shore, a party nightly allows teams to relax, unwind, discuss the following days tactics… or just have a glass or two of Mount Gay Rum. Trade winds and incredible sailing conditions make this a challenging 70 mile course.
February, 2018 The Superyacht Challenge Antigua Yacht Club
February, 2018 Antigua 360º Race, conceived by Stan Pearson and a group of enthusiastic sailors involved in Antigua yachting events is designed as a true and meaningful practice day race before the main RORC event. Inaugurated in 2016, John Burnie’s RP90, La Bete set a monohull race record of 5 Hours 00 Mins 26 Secs for the 52 nautical mile course.
February 19, 2018 The RORC Caribbean 600, Antigua
A 605-mile offshore race around the Caribbean Leeward Islands starting & finishing in Antigua. Organized by the Royal Ocean Racing Club in association with the Antigua Yacht Club.
March 1 – 4, 2018 St Maarten Heineken Regatta
This world renowned sailing event offers four days of World Class Racing, with trade winds coming from the North East, an average temperature of 25°C and crystal clear waters. This truly international event had a staggering 37 different countries represented during the Regatta. On shore, participants and spectators will enjoy the culture, cuisine and music from both the Dutch and French side. This regatta is a winning combination; high-energy, competitive racing and unbeatable party fun.
March 9-12, 2018 Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta and Rendezvous, BVI
Spectacular racing will return to the beautiful waters of the British Virgin Islands in March 2018 for the eighth edition of the Loro Piana Caribbean Superyacht Regatta & Rendezvous. Organized by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, 2018’s superyacht regatta will welcome an impressive fleet of sailing yachts for three days of thrilling pursuit racing off Virgin Gorda, as well as a sparkling social program.
March 15-18, 2018 St. Barth’s Bucket
This is an invitational regatta open to yachts over 100’. You can buy seats on spectator boats, or charter a yacht to watch these spectacular sailing yachts compete.
