Day 1 : Arrive in St. Thomas and taxi to Crown Bay Marina, on the west side of the port of Charlotte Amalie. Crown Bay Marina is a state-of-the-art facility in a charming port. Board your charter yacht and enjoy lunch alfresco and a bit of sightseeing while you cruise around Charlotte Amalie Harbor. Drop anchor and have a relaxing swim or launch the tender for some island exploration. St. Thomas is both a cosmopolitan island and a Caribbean, secluded retreat.
You may want to arrive a day early or delay your departure from St. Thomas to enjoy the duty free shopping, world-renowned golf course, and spectacular nightlife. Take the Skyride 700 feet above the city or climb the famous 99 Steps of Charlotte Amalie for an incomparable view of the Caribbean. If you are interested in culture and history, St. Thomas is home to the second-oldest synagogue in the Western Hemisphere, the 1680-built Fort Christian and the childhood home of French Impressionist painter Camille Pissarro.
Day 2 : After breakfast depart for Magens Bay Beach, St. Thomas. Located on the north shore of the island, protected by land on three
sides, it is one of the most popular beaches on the island. Here conditions are perfect for water sports fun so grab some gear and dive in to snorkel, ski, windsurf, rent Sunfish sailboats, glass-bottom paddle boats, and sailboards or go ashore to explore. Magens Bay Bar and Grill is a great place to meet locals and fellow travelers while you sip a refreshing beverage, perhaps indulge in a signature Caribbean cocktail.
Day 3 : Today you depart for Cruz Bay, the heart of St. John is just a short cruise away. St. John, the smallest & most idyllic of the three United States Virgin Islands, is renowned for breathtakingly beautiful white sand beaches, turquoise bays abounding in colorful corals & rainbows of tropical fish and a landscape of green velvet hills. Two thirds of the island is the Virgin Islands National Park,
which includes spectacular beaches and pristine tropical forests. In Cruz Bay you can dine in one of the pretty sea-side cantinas followed by a walk to Mongoose Junction to meander through the local shops and galleries in this charming shopping district. Return to the yacht for a quick cruise to the Rockefeller resort of Caneel Bay.
Day 4 : Awake beside one of the islands prettiest beaches for a morning swim. After breakfast, explore St. John the best way, by jeep. Your crew can arrange for your jeep, waiting on shore for you to jump behind the wheel and set off on your own, or a crew member will be happy to guide you. There are also organized tours of the National Park by Jeep or safari bus that feature hikes on spectacular trails led by Park Rangers who enrich the experience with talks on the island’s history, geology, flora and fauna.
In the late afternoon return to the yacht for a sunset cruise to beautiful Francis Bay.
Day 5 : Today you will thrill to the experience of a blue water cruise, out of sight of land on the open sea. You are bound for the largest of the Virgin Islands, St. Croix. Four hours to the south brings you to the port of Christiansted. Here you can begin to discover the unique culture of St. Croix through its arts, crafts, music, festivals and cultural events. St. Croix has gorgeous beaches, world-class recreational activities, fine dining, casino, and golf.
Arawak and Caribe inhabitants and shifting control by Spain, Great Britain, the Netherlands, France, the Knights of Malta, Denmark and the United States, have left a legacy of of contrast and diversity. Visiting just the two
main towns of Saint Croix will give you a glimpse of the island’s incredible history, from regal 18th and 19th-century homes in Christiansted to a tropical rain forest in Frederiksted. After a day of exploration, return to the yacht for a lovely sunset cruise to Green Cay Marina.
Day 6 : Today you will delight in a quick cruise to Buck Island National Park to be awed by the shimmering blue water and spectacular coral reefs. The island boasts exceptional wildlife above and below the sea. In the the evening, return to St. Croix and drop anchor at the St. Croix Yacht Club at Teague Bay. Founded in 1952, the St Croix Yacht Club is located on a sensational sandy beach
facing Buck Island and covers nearly 6 acres of beautifully manicured grounds. Walk the docks, enjoy a cocktail at the club, then board your charter yacht for leisurely cocktails and dinner on the aft deck, an unparalleled setting to enjoy the moon and stars appear and blanket the night sky.
Day 7 : Begin your day with a glorious morning on the beach, just thirty feet from your yacht. Relax and soak up the sun or explore the wonders of this beautiful island. In the afternoon depart for the cruise back to St. Thomas. The yacht will arrive under twinkling stars to the beauty of Charlotte Amalie aglow in the moonlight. Cruising into this harbor of lights is a fitting end to your sparkling week on charter and a perfect backdrop to reminisce on the wonders you have seen and to plan your next charter through the magical and magnificent islands of the Caribbean.
