Crew Profile

Captain Robert "Rooster" Bredeck hails from Michigan but has called St. Thomas home for over a decade. He turned his passion for the water into a career, leading snorkel trips around the island at the helm of numerous daysail yachts, racing Farr 40 sailboats, and taking the helm as Captain and Dive Master on both Captain-Only and All Inclusive term charter yachts.

Well versed in the USVI and BVI destinations, Captain Robert looks forward to greeting new guests aboard catamaran Catatonic, sharing his love of the water, his wit and laughter and his enthusiasm for the Caribbean life.

Chef/First Mate Jennifer Jackson has been living in the Virgin Islands since 2007. Jen's delicious cuisine and flair for presentation, as well as her boat handling skills, are well known in the charter industry making her a highly sought after first mate/chef. She has worked consecutive seasons as the chef on board S/Y Irie, S/Y Black Pearl and S/Y Catatonic in addition to other charter yachts throughout the BVI.

Jen's nautical experience extends back to her early childhood, growing up in Cocoa Beach, Fl where she was always on or in the water, swimming, diving, surfing and boating. Coming from a very close Southern family, Jennifer was raised with a love for good "down home" cooking. Traveling and experiencing different cultures informed her palate and her menu reflects tastes from her favorite cuisines around the world.

Robert and Jen welcome you aboard Catatonic for a Caribbean charter that will amaze you in every way.
