Charles Crace – Captain
Leaving England at the age of 19, Charles began his yachting career, starting as a deckhand on a sailboat in the Med, Quickly realizing the error of his ways, he switched over to the more glamorous work of motor yachts, working on yachts up to 245’ Over the years Charles captained various private and charter yachts up to 180’, doing the usual run from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean and US, even taking boats as far afield as Alaska and Dubai. Charles is very passionate about his job and he likes to ensure that that guests have a wonderful yachting experience, and he will do everything he can to make it so. Charles has worked in almost every position on a boat and thus has a keen eye to detail and knows what it takes to maintain the vessel and the service to the highest standard in the industry.

Gerhardt Swart – Engineer
Gerhardt lives in picturesque Hermanus which is world renowned for its whale watching. Born and raised in the Western Cape with his roots in a small town and farms. Having spent time in West Africa doing hydrographic surveying and exploration he has been part of several new built yacht projects in the last 6 years. Gerhardt is an avid diver and loves nature. Always willing to be helpful or fix something with a smile while relying on a broad knowledge of yachts and systems.

Michel Thomann – Chef
Michelin trained Chef Michel brings an amazing level of gastronomy to his guests on a daily basis. His classic approach mixed with the Michelin style provides countless epic dishes that will appeal to your palate as well as your eyes. Michel is thoughtful and strives for success in his work and in the day to day interactions aboard MAGIC. He is always prepared with a “can-do” attitude the is infectious with all crewmembers. His knowledge in Michelin Starr quality food incorporated with wine pairings and exceptionally high standards of service prove that he is passionate about what he does.

Benjamin Bessette - 1st officer
Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Benjamin became passionate about motorcycles and extreme sports from a very young age. Shortly after graduating from the maritime school as an officer, Ben started to work on cruise ships where he worked for many years before transferring to the yachting industry. His high level of competitiveness, positive attitude and energy helped him to be successful early in his career. Always proactive and ready for challenges, Ben will share in knowledge and demonstrate his skills in many sports such as motorcycling, fitness, wakeboarding, waterskiing and much more. Benjamin’s laugh and sense of humor will bring a unique experience. Ben welcomes you onboard for an amazing adventure!

Jocelyn Piccinetti – Chief Stewardess
Originally from Maryland, Jocelyn grew up on the Equestrian circuit but has called Palm Beach her home for more than half her life. Prior to yachting she worked with her mother for 15 years running their high-end mobile coffee and espresso bars that specialized in prestigious events all over the USA. She also owned and operated an upscale clothing boutique for 5 years in the Hamptons. 6 years ago Jocelyn traded land for water by joining yachting to continue her passion for hospitality and at the same time fulfill her love for culture and travel. Jocelyn’s professionalism, charm and concern for guest satisfaction is genuinely felt by each and every guest.

Megan Hunter - 2nd Stew and Masseuse
Megan has over 15 years customer service experience in the restaurant/ hospitality and spa/aesthetics industries and two seasons of yacht experience. She is very hard working, can multitask with ease, is always happy to participate as a team or on her own. She is always responsible, reliable, positive and professional. Megan excels in customer service and possesses the personality and passion to provide outstanding results and guest experience.

Martin is originally from Pretoria, South Africa. He moved to Florida at a young age. It is here where his love for the ocean and outdoors flourished. Martin’s hobbies are diving and fishing, along with a love for rugby and football. Martin has an outgoing personality and truly enjoys making others feel welcome and comfortable in any situation. Martin looks forward to having you aboard for some fantastic adventures on the water!
