Crew Profile

Interested in a fun-filled, exciting time aboard Touch the Sky with the perfect Captain, Chef, and Mate trio? Then Collin and Corinne and their son, Keagan are your team!

Collin and Corinne discovered their love for the outdoors and outdoor activities growing up on game preserves in South Africa. They love waterskiing, wakeboarding, scuba diving, sailing, dirt bike riding, camping, hiking and hunting, clearly an active couple. They relocated to the USA 15 years ago and raised their family with the same intense exposure to watersports and the outdoors at their house on Lake Anna, Virginia and their farm in South Africa. Adrenalin junkies alike they have also bungee jumped the highest commercial jump in the world, dived with great white sharks, white water rafted the Zambezi Gorge and scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef.

Collin's love for sailing grew during his conscription in the South African Navy as a Naval Officer. He has skippered sailing charters in the BVI's, Grenadines and Turkey. His love for people is evident the minute you meet him.

Corinne's attention to detail, eye for elegance and creativity can be seen through her decor style, tasteful table settings and artistic culinary skills. Her love for food preparation and hosting expanded through cooking and entertaining for friends, small corporate management teams and eventually event planning.

As empty nesters they are finally able to enjoy the hospitality and sailing life-style they are so suited to and have always dreamed of.

Keagan completed his Royal Yacht Academy (RYA) Coastal Yacht Master License with Commercial Endorsement in June 2017. His love for sailing began through exposure to boating and sailing with his parents. He has over a thousand logged miles, has sailed as first mate in the BVI on numerous occasions.

Growing up in South Africa, Keagan’s childhood was full of adventures on a game farm riding ATV’s, camping, hunting and shooting skeet. His family then relocated to the USA where he continued his outdoor passions water skiing, wakeboarding, boating at their lake house in Virginia and snow skiing, snowboarding and dirt bike riding. He has also bungee jumped the 3rd highest bungee in the world at 216m, has been shark cage diving and sky-diving. His enthusiasm for activity is contagious.

During a gap year after high school Keagan took the opportunity to back-pack through Fiji, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Panama and Cost Rica. Most recently, he graduated from Colorado University earning his degree in marketing and receiving an entrepreneurial certificate.

Keagan enjoys building relationships with others and often took an informal lead in group projects with his classmates. His peers describe him as an outgoing, enthusiastic person with a positive attitude and terrific communication skills.
