Steppin Up features Queen beds in each of the three guest staterooms. The forward starboard stateroom also provides access to a single adult sized sleeper "V-Berth" if an alternative sleeping arrangement is needed. Each stateroom has its own adjacent private head and shower. Stepping Up is fully air conditioned.There are several distinct living areas for your relaxation and enjoyment. Her rear facing cockpit has full sun screens, full weather enclosure for less than perfect days, and hard top Bimini. You will enjoy al fresco dining on a beautiful hand crafted mahogany table, complete with cushioned seating. Steppin Up boasts a unique mahogany aft deck for sunning, diving, and relaxation, it doubles as a dinghy platform for better performance while traveling. The indoor salon has comfortable seating around a cocktail table, which can be converted into a chess board. The bow is large and has several comfortable cushioned seats and pads. The trampoline is of a tight mesh, which allows you to walk across easily or stretch out in total comfort. There is also a portable sun screen for the forward bow for extra comfort. On Steppin Up you'll be sure to find a favorite spot to relax and enjoy each and every day. Do as much or as little as you like, in, on, or off the water. Sailing, snorkeling, tubing, SubWing fun, knee boarding, paddle boarding, wind surfing, kayaking, lounging on a huge mat, or peering through a reef sled, we have all the toys you could imagine for in the water. If you enjoy beach combing, sunbathing, hiking, sightseeing, shopping or simply relaxing in a hammock, all while having your floating hotel right there with you, Steppin Up can take care of that too!

Crew Profile

Captain Bill Wilson has been sailing for over 35 years. Destinations included Croatia, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Bermuda and the Caribbean Islands. The winter of 2011-2012 was spent sailing sites throughout the Windward and Leeward Islands, the USVI's, the BVI's as well as the Bahamas. The summer, months were spent sailing the east coast of the US, the Chesapeake Bay, in and around New Jersey, New York Harbor and the Hudson River to a total of over 3000 miles for the year.
Captain Bill recently retired from 35 years in the Heating and Cooling industry and as owner and operator of several restaurants for over 15 years. He's a Licensed Contractor in Refrigeration and Plumbing as well as a certified Electrician and HVAC Technician. He is a veteran of the US Navy and holds a USCG Captains 50 Ton Certification.

Michelle Emmons First mate and Cook has logged over 5000 miles on the water. With over 35 years of experience in the kitchen, ranging from intimate multi-course meals, to banquets for up to 100 people. Her passion for cooking and baking comes to fruition in the Galley.
Michelle retired as a technology coordinator and computer teacher of 17 years. She had also coached competitive gymnastics & volleyball for over a decade. Michelle is a free-lance artist & maintains this status on a contractual basis.

Bill and Michelle are life-long athletes. They were both active and long time volunteers in numerous community organizations. Their years of experience working with people is coupled with a sincere desire to cater to your comfort. You will be happy to spend your vacation aboard Steppin Up with Capt'n Bill and Michelle.
