Crew Profile

Denny Carlson, US Coast Guard Captain,
I've been chartering and sailing in the Caribbean since 1986. I'm originally a farm boy from southern Wisconsin who went off to school and got a degree in Electrical Engineer and earned an MBA. I've retired from the corporate life and began chartering as an owner/operator with my lively wife and chef Pam. My father was Swedish and I guess I must have gotten my love of the water and ocean from my Dads Viking ancestors. I've been an athlete my entire life. I was a certified ski instructor at Copper Mountain, CO for several years I am currently a AAA rated Sr. Softball player. Competitive volleyball player and many more sports. I have lots of experience and want to share my boat and my experience with you. I own an awesome bIue water stable 42 Fountaine Pajot Venezia Catamaran which allows me to take you to places you probably haven't even dreamed of. I tailor your time aboard so you enjoy the things you want to do and go to the places you want to see. I know a lot of "out of the way" places and am very happy to take you to them. I enjoy guiding you through the ruins of old sugar plantations and a couple hours later guiding you on a snorkel tour on one of the many amazing reefs we can take you to. We did a total refit on Whisper 42 four years ago and Whisper 42 is an exceptionally clean and solid platform for providing your dream sailing vacation. Come join Pam and me and well make your stay the best possible vacation in Paradise that you'll remember and cherish for the rest of your life. .

Pamela Freeman,First Mate/Chef:
As first-mate and chef my skills have come from real life everyday situations which involve being a wife, mom, granny (greatest blessing ever), and business owner. I have a degree in business, raised two very successful young men and have been a licensed realtor for 25 plus years. My years as a realtor working with people under stress gave me great people skills. My culinary skills come from a love of food and the joy of cooking and creating tasty dishes. I grew up on southern comfort food and describe my cooking as comfort food with a healthy twist. My food isn't always the prettiest but it sure tastes good. Entertaining and cooking for friends was an important part of my life as well as boating. The love of the ocean came from my father who passed it on to me as well as my two sons. I am pretty sure I was on a boat before I knew how to walk. Always dreamed of living on the water and that dream has come true. Family is the most important element in my life and having them come on board to enjoy this adventure is always a blessing. I have made some life long friendships on this adventure. Looking forward to making more friends and providing a vacation experience our guests will never forget.
